YouTube To Break Into Live Event Streaming
B&C has reported that YouTube, owned by Google, has inked a deal that will bring a ton of basketball attention their way. They’ve signed a deal with NBA D-League to stream 350 of the 400 regular season games. Realizing they couldn’t compete with wild TV mainstream sports deals, they’re goal is to play a complementary role to large sports leagues. This gives smaller associations an outlet for distribution. The infamous Jeremy Lin was found in the D-League, along with the 20% of NBA players with a D-League past. NBA is YouTube’s most popular of all the professional sports leagues, backed by their 960 million views, so it’s no surprise that they would use them as their first endeavor into Live event streaming. Tech Talk News: Psy’s “Gangnam Style” Cashes In On Youtube!!!!
“Gangnam Style” style is quickly approaching 1 billion video views, you would think Psy would have cashed in on record sales. Think again Psy will net $7.9 million from ads on Youtube but will only earn approximately $60,000 this year from actual record sales in Korea. The song is currently available on iTunes for $1.29 but Apple takes 30% of that. Psy will probably make most of his money though endorsements and appearances this year. Even he’s sold more than 3 million singles and sold 100 in physical CD sales (he gets about 9 percent cut from that) the Youtube checks will probably be greater. Yungjohnnybravo x TatWZA

So a 19 year old girl Hannah Sabata, from Nebraska decided she was going to rob a car, then a bank and then for finishing touches she was going to make a YouTube video about her day of crime! .. Really? This was just flat out stupidity, who robs a bank and then makes a YouTube video about?!.. I mean seriously, if your going to go threw all the trouble in robbing a car and a bank and actually not get caught, what would make you think it wasa smart idea to broadcast it on YouTube? Did she really think she wasn’t going to get caught? ..why even take the chance?..I really do wonder what was on her mind when she made this video..Check it out below Mickey
Tech Talk News: PSY’s “Gangnam Style” Becomes Most Watched YouTube Video
The other day I realized I have yet to watch PSY’s “Gangnam Style” video, actually I hadn’t hear the song previous to the AMAs and apparently I’m one of a very small amount of people who haven’t watched the video. PSY’s video has now become the most viewed YouTube video, ever. The world wide hit “Gangnam Style” currently has 803,761,928 on YouTube surpassing Justin Bieber’s “Baby.” The song even reached the #1 rap song in the country.
