(Photos) Freddie Gibbs Takes Aim At Jeezy On Twitter; Reveals Diss Track On The Way

Back in 2011, Freddie Gibbs signed to Jeezy’s growing CTE imprint, but was cut at the end of 2012 as the label decided to move in a different direction. At first, it seemed as though the split was amicable and strictly a business decision, but a couple of months into the new year, Freddie began speaking on the situation, and he wasn’t happy. Amongst other things, he called his former CEO “fake,” revealing he never once helped his career and that he has zero respect for him. Almost a year to the day since the split was announced, it appears that Freddie still isn’t over it. Taking to Twitter over the weekend, the Indiana rapper revealed that he has a diss track on the way, taking aim at Jeezy’s neck. Oh boy! Check the tweets in the gallery. Wonder if Jizzle will respond?

(Video) Tone Trump Discusses His Status On Jeezy’s CTE Label

At the end of 2012, Jeezy’s CTE imprint signed a new distribution deal, which ultimately led to the Atlanta rapper “cleaning slate” at the label…aka, dropping a majority of the artists. Both Freddie Gibbs and Scrilla announced their departure, while YG revealed his new deal, but we never really heard anything from Tone Trump. Below, he updates our friends at HHS87 on the status of his relationship with the label.

(Photos) Uh-Oh! Following In Jeezy’s Steps, Juelz Santana Trashes His Label Def Jam…& Guess Who May Sign Him!

Shortly after Jeezy took to Twitter to vent his frustrations with Def Jam Recordings, his labelmate Juelz Santana used the social network to do the very same thing. The guys are apparently experiencing the same issues, with the label seemingly not giving them any support on albums, forcing them to continue to put out mixtapes in the interim. A fan mentioned to Juelz that their labelmate Fabolous didn’t seem to have a problem, to which the Dip Set rapper noted that he too was putting out a mixtape first, and then shared that his next album with Def Jam will likely be his last. Inside info leaked? Hmm! The biggest bombshell in the rant came in the form of another big record exec looking to court Juelz, similar to L.A. Reid during Jeezy’s rant. This exec makes TONS of sense for Juelz, as he’s collaborated with his artists countless times in the past…and Meek Mill chimed in to say he thinks that’s a good idea as well. Find out who in the gallery and share your thoughts in the comments!
