Yoko Ono has entered the war on gun control using her twitter. Ono, who is the widow of The Beatles’ John Lennon, tweeted to her over 3 million followers, “The death of a loved one is a hollowing experience. After 33 years our son Sean and I still miss him. Yoko Ono Lennon.” Followed by another tweet, “31,537 people are killed by guns in the USA every year. We are turning this beautiful country into war zone.” She attached a picture, to both tweets, of Lennon’s famous blood stained glasses and a message that says, “Over 1,057,00 people have been killed by guns in the USA since John Lennon was shot and killed on December 8, 1980.”
Years after their break-up, Yoko Ono is opening up for the first time about the real reason why The Beatles broke up. I’m curious why she decided to open about about what she calls “the divorce” now after all these years. Yoko said that John was pleased with the break-up since all the members said they began to feel like they were Paul’s back-up band and not a united band. Yoko also claims that Ringo and George came to her and John to talk to them about leaving the band before they split while Paul was attempted to keep the band together. Ono also said that Lennon really did miss his bandmates. It’s a shame that they split when they did, but more importantly that John and Paul never spoke after their split and never really got the chance to peace things up. Read what Yoko said below. I hope Yoko One, widow of the late John Lennon changed her underwear after she gave this microphone the business. It’s suppose to be her rendition of Katy Perry’s, “Fireworks”. I don’t know what to call it, except HILARIOUS. PLEASE, drop down bottom and check it out. JaaiR (JR)
Two vintage photographs of John Lennon and Yoko Ono posing naked are expected to sell for hundreds of pounds after being put up for auction. One image, used on the front of the LP cover, shows the Ex-Beatle and his partner naked from the front, while the image used on the reverse is a view from behind. @WiLMajor
