Wyclef: I Never Pocketed Money from My Charity

Wyclef Jean’s “Yele Haiti” foundation went out of business last month, with The New York Times reporting that out of the $3 million spent from 2005-2009, $256,580 was used for illegal benefits and improper transactions. Wyclef Jean’s Charity Being Accused Of Misusing Money!

When the massive earthquake rocked Haiti killing hundreds of people while leaving hundreds of others displaced,  Haiti native Wyclef Jean and his charity Yele Hait stepped up to help. Yele Haiti set up texting lines and much more to allow people to donate money to those in need and raised $16 million in 2010. The charity came under fire back in January 2010 when people accused Wyclef and other charity runners of using the raised money for personal use.  Yele Haiti is now being accused again for a different incident!
