18-year-old Harold Ekeh is currently trying to make one of the hardest decisions of his life. The Nigerian-born scholar, who has been residing in Long Island since he was 8 with his parents, has been accepted to every single college out of the 13 he applied to, including a total of EIGHT Ivy League schools in that list. Ekeh applied to Yale, Harvard, Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Pennsylvania, Princeton, Johns Hopkins, NYU, MIT, Vanderbilt and SUNY Stony Brook but he has been showing the most interest in attending Yale, as of now. However, he has until May 1st to make his final decision. According to the Elmont Memorial High School student, Ekeh wants to become a Neurosurgeon to find a cure for Alzheimer’s to end his Grandmother’s suffering with the illness. At his High School, he has served as editor-in-chief of his student newspaper and chief executive of the Model United Nations, along with many other titles throughout his four years at his school. Wow, props to him. Always dope seeing young kids focused and ready to conquer the world!
