The rumors have been swirling for a little while, and now it’s official that Khloe Kardashian is no longer on “X Factor.” Fox just released a statement revealing the reality star won’t be joining them as a host in season 3 after her debut in season 2, but Mario Lopez will continue to hold the gig. “We really enjoyed working with her and wish her all the best in her future endeavors,” they added. Eek.
Word around town is that Khloe Kardashian just got fired from her X-Factor hosting job! First Lamar gets the boot from the Lakers to the Mavs (then to the Clippers). Now, Khloe’s losing her job too! After just ONE season sources claim Khloe Kardashian has been fired as a host, due to disappointing reception. ‘They are asking Mario [Lopez] to come back, but not Khloe,’ an insider confirmed to the New York Post. A spokesperson for the X Factor refused to confirm the report, instead stating, ‘The producers have not yet made the talent decisions for this year.’ Despite her fame on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Khloe came to the X Factor with no hosting experience. She seemed very nervous on air, and since it was live – her comments could not be edited. And her wardrobe choices didn’t exactly help her out either, a few of the nights she had malfunctions with her nipples apparent through her see-through top. Poor Klo, bet if it was “inexperienced” Kim K, they would’ve let her keep the job! …I’m sure you’d agree.
With two judges gone from show ‘X Factor’ the rumors on who will become the new judges have already gotten intense and Ne-Yo’s name is in the middle of it all! “I don’t want anybody to put too much stock in that,” says Ne-Yo. “It honestly and truly may not happen. It’s just conversation right now, and everybody knows that in L.A., until the ink is dry on the contract, nothing is for certain.” Read more after the jump.
The confirmation on Thursday (January 10) that Britney Spears is leaving the “X Factor” came as no surprise to anyone who followed the show’s second season. While it gained hype, things fizzled almost immediately once the live shows hit the air. With both Spears and label legend L.A. Reid taking their leave, show creator Simon Cowell is once again faced with revamping half of the judge’s panel before the upcoming third season. Russ B
Demi Lovato, who was a judge on “X-Factor,” can live anywhere she wants but has chosen to live in a sober facility for about a year now. Back in 2010, Demi was cutting herself and had both anorexia and bulimia and signed herself into a rehab for her addiction. She said she needed guidance and support so she decided to check herself into the rehab in L.A. Even while she was filming for the show, she called the rehab center “home” despite the fact that she is doing so much better than she was two years ago. Read more below. Julie A.
