Wyclef Jean and Jim Jones headed to Haiti to shoot visuals for their collab, “God Bless The Child.” The track goes back to Jim’s 2011 album, Capo, and judging from Jim’s hair so does the video. I’m not really sure why they decided to release the video so late, but get into it below.

After the long wait, Wyclef Jean announces that his anticipated mixtape April Showers is this Spring. He explains to HHDX, “The reaction I’ve been getting from the song ‘Hip Hop’ has made me realize just how badly the fans want music that can evoke certain types of emotion. With April Showers, I am going to show you where I feel the evolution and future of music is going. From this body of work you can expect a futuristic sonic eclectic sound.” Can’t wait to see what he’s got in store for us next! See the footage of him below!

Lauryn Hill has been touring with Nas doing her thing from state to state while remaining silent about all of Wyclef’s claims in the recent past. The claims include that Lauryn had tricked him into thinking he fathered her first kid until the child was actually born. It looks like Lauryn couldn’t remain silent anymore, but she didn’t directly shoot down rumors, she did it in a subtle way while on stage in Dallas. Wyclef Jean definitely drops a bombshell about his former Fugees member Lauryn Hill in his new autobiography, Purpose. He tells of an affair between the two, ending in an incident that drove a rift between them for quite some time. The worst is, the affair occurred while Clef was married and L Boogie was obviously with Rohan Marley, as the baby she led Clef to believe was his ultimately ended up being Rohan’s.
