While Wyclef Jean was performing at SXSW, he switched up his set list and did a freestyle over Wayne’s classic, “A Milli.” Before he started he explained his reasoning for this, saying that the younger generation isn’t familiar with The Fugees and is more into YMCMB (sad but true). Waka Flocka and BB Kings teamed together to put on a concert to benefit Hurricane Sandy victims. While performing, Waka was joined by Maino, Swizz Beatz, and Wyclef Jean. During the show, Maino presented Waka with triple platinum plaque and performed “Mobbin,” Wyclef spit an acapella freestyle, and a fan got in Waka’s face on stage. Watch a recap of the show below.
