Action Bronson Talks Not Falling Into Mainstream Rap & The Attribution Of His Golden Age Flow

He may be of the newer generation of rappers, but Action Bronson gives us that ol’ school feel. Tracks like, “No Time” and “Strictly 4 My Jeeps” are prime examples of what you could close your eyes to and jam off of. He knows his skill. “I remind everybody of the Golden Age, that’s just what it is,” Bronson told Hip Hop DX. Back in the day when things were less mainstream and flashy is what the chef turned rapper is going for. Simply put, it’s his “personality” that the fans love. The fact that he’s not mainstream, he has that throwback flow and the incorporation of his chef-like habits and graffiti skills placed into his writing are all things Action Bronson. We love it! Drop down bottom for more on his skills and why he remains him, throughout the transition from kitchen to studio.

Confirmed: Superhead Is Penning A Tell-All On Her & Lil Wayne’s On-Going Relationship

Karrine Steffans (bka “Superhead”) has had an on-again/off-again relationship with Lil Wayne going back years at this point. He even penned his 2007 hit “Prostitute” about the infamous vixen-turned-author. As of late, however, Karrine got married to someone else (not sure the status on that at the moment), and Wayne has been deeply involved with Dhea since the beginning of 2011. That’s not stopping their union though apparently, according to Karrine’s latest tweets. Check out what she said in the gallery. I don’t know how Wayne keeps his girls so harmonious! LOL! Kanye West & Co. Told Roscoe Dash A “Typo” Was The Reason He Didn’t Get Credited On Cruel Summer

C’mon Kanye! You’re one of the most creative rappers in the game…you couldn’t think of a better excuse than a “typo”?! LOL! We all watched as rapper/writer Roscoe Dash had a bit of a meltdown on Twitter a couple weeks ago, upset over his lack of credit for his work on Wale’s “Lotus Flower Bomb” single and some tracks with Kanye West on his last album and on Cruel Summer. In a new interview with Shade 45’s morning show, Roscoe brings the topic back up and reveals the camp reached out and told him his credit was missing simply because of a typo. Riiight! Do you believe that? Does Roscoe? Watch the interview below and let us know! Marisa Mendez

The Drama Continues: Meek Mill Comes At Roscoe Dash For Going At Wale; Miguel Adds His Comments

Earlier this afternoon, things got pretty crazy on Twitter. Roscoe Dash got fed up with not getting “credit” for songs he allegedly had a hand in, and wanted the world to know what’s up. He named Kanye West and Wale as the main culprits, the latter for his hit single “Lotus Flower Bomb,” featuring Miguel. Roscoe said he wrote the song, it went number one and his name was never added to the mix. Wale didn’t say too much following the claims, just a kind of “SMH” type of tweet. He also apparently hopped on the phone with Roscoe ASAP, making sure in the midst of his whining, he clears up what we figured he meant…he wrote the HOOK to the song, not Wale’s verses. Knowing Wale’s personality, he probably ripped Roscoe to shreds. LOL! Then Roscoe shared a link to a story from Complex, where they exclusively spoke to Miguel, who sings said hook. He completely plays Roscoe too. Ha! Then Meek Mill had to hop in, as he previously had an issue with Roscoe anyway so this was right up his alley. Check out all the tweets below. Roscoe needs to quit crying! Marisa Mendez

Roscoe Dash Goes In On Kanye West & Wale On Twitter For Not Crediting Him For Writing Their Songs

Roscoe Dash just can’t seem to get on the right page with the MMG camp, and now apparently the G.O.O.D Music crew as well! Previously he went head to head with Meek Mill on Twitter over Meek’s alleged involvement in the Chris Brown/Drake brawl, but that was eventually cleared up. Now he’s steaming mad all over again, this time at Meek’s labelmate Wale, as well as Kanye West. Kanye’s new video explaining the creative process of Cruel Summer is what set him off, prompting him to go further and add Wale in as well. Apparently, Roscoe had a hand in songs for both artists, but neither gave him any credit whatsoever. Ouch. I doubt Yeezy will reply but Wale is never one to keep his mouth shut so let’s see what he says! Roscoe’s full rant below. Marisa Mendez
