(Photos) New WTC Is Finally Beaming!!

Lower Manhattan is finally lit up again with lights beaming from the new World Trade Center. Friday night, the lights were switched on for testing for the very first time. The port authority states the light beams from the building can be seen for 50 miles. To see more pictures of the new WTC, click below.


SMH! Three World Trade Center Workers Arrested For Selling Weed At Construction Site

Seven months ago, The Port Authority received a tip that there was a drug ring amongst the construction workers working on the World Trade Center. After an investigation into Long Island’s Sorbrara Construction, three workers were arrested for selling weed to other workers. Brian McDermott, John Fama, and Cesar Rivera have been arrested and are facing charges of five counts of drug sale and possession. The Port Authority are going to continue this investigation because they believe there are more people involved than these three men. Read more below.

World Trade Center Memorial Too Expensive?

The National September 11 Memorial and Museum at the World Trade Center is an amazing spectacle. The memorial has already received 4.5 million visitors in its first year and the underground museum has yet to be completed. However, the foundation that runs the memorial has said with the expensive cost of the project, $700 million, and the operating cost, $60 million per year, the budget may be unsustainable without a big government subsidy. What A Surprise!!! 3 World Trade Center The Third Highest Bulding Struggles To Find Tenants!!!

Silverstein Properties Inc. said it is still looking for tenants to fill the first 10 floors of Three World Trade Center, the third-highest building in the planned office complex. Are they really surprised? I am not, I wouldn’t lease a floor no higher than the 4th floor (maybe 3rd). Inside job or not we all know what happened on 9/11.
