In a stand to go from $7.25 an hour to $15 an hour, McDonalds, Wendy’s and Burger King workers go on strike all across the globe. The protests turned into arrests today in New York City’s Times Square as the demonstrators sat in the middle of the streets and blocked traffic. 14 men and five women were taken down by police. It’s not just New York state where these strikes are taking place. Workers in more than 100 cities across the country have participated in the strike to make a higher earning. Detroit, Chicago and Las Vegas have taken part. It’s even gone as far as the strikers leaving their cities to form bigger crowds in other cities. St. Louis and Ferguson, MO workers took plane and train trips paid for by the striker’s coalition and SEIU to NYC. Check down bottom for more.

Lazy Or Nah? City Workers Paint While Street Line Over A Pile Of Leaves!!
Memphis workers have some explaining to do. A hilarious picture recently surfaced showing a white line of paint on top of a pile of leaves. It, first, started off gaining laughs, but many residents are upset to see that their tax dollars are NOT at work. Check out the pic after the jump.
Really?! MLB Sued By All-Star Weekend Workers!
I’m a little confused on this story. If they were volunteers, they have no right to be suing anyone — you don’t get paid for volunteer work (hence the word volunteer). BUT if they were workers aka employees, this was wack of the MLB. Apparently the MLB is getting sued for paying All-Star workers in giveaways … instead of cash. Check out the report after the jump…
Workers Uncover Gold Stash And Do WHAT???
These workers did the honest thing while working at their client’s home. They stumbled upon jars filled of gold dust and handed it over to who they thought were their rightful owners. But, the homeowners did not even know it was there and well if they did , I’m sure they would have tried to retrieve it before they got any work done in their home. Rev. Jesse Jackson Arrested During Protest Against Bain Capital
Reverend Jesse Jackson was arrested earlier today while protesting with workers from a plant in Illinois. The manufacturer, owned by Bain Capital, is being shuttered for one in China. Mitt Romney is a former employee of Bain Capital, who has a dark reputation of shuttering U.S. entities by draining assets and leaving the company on the hook for any arising debts.
