More details are coming out about the Will Smith case and the evidence so far seem to support Cardell Hayes’ story. It was initially reported that Hayes shot Smith and his wife Raquel after rear-ending their Mercedes and getting into a verbal altercation. Hayes’ lawyer John Fuller says his client was not the aggressor; he implied that Smith was intoxicated and had a gun in his car. Well now the gun has been found.

Why was Will Smith killed? That has been the No. 1 question since news of his death broke out. It was initially reported as road rage gone bad. Smith’s Mercedes G63 SUV was allegedly rear-ended by Cardell Hayes’ Hummer H2 and Hayes fired several shots killing Smith and injuring his wife after the two exchanged words. Then new information came out that Hayes previously worked security for the Saints and won a lawsuit against the police for unlawfully killing his father; one of the cops named in the suit had dinner with Smith that night. All that might be irrelevant to the case as this new footage was released.

Saturday night Will Smith was honored with the Generation Award at the MTV Movie awards. Queen Latifah and Halle Berry did the honors of presenting Smith with the award. “There isn’t more talented and more generous to our community,” Queen Latifah said in her introduction. This is so tragic and so senseless it’s sickening. Former New Orleans Saints player, Will Smith, along with his wife were both shot late last night In New Orleans in what was an apparent road rage incident. Smith was pronounced dead at the scene while his wife is expected to survive.
