NBA: Trevor Ariza Agrees to 4-Year, $32 Million Deal With Houston Rockets

Another domino has fallen in the free agency game.  LeBron James’ decision started a domino effect as teams moved quickly to snatch up who’s left.  The Washington Wizards tried desperately to re-sign Trevor Ariza but he has decided to go to the Houston Rockets whom missed out on Chris Bosh.


NBA: Wizards Expect to Have Nene Return for the Playoffs

The Washington Wizards clinched a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference currently holding the sixth seed.  It’s very close however between the Chicago Bulls and the Toronto Raptors and there’s a chance the Wizards could face a tough Bulls team in a 3-6 matchup.  After suffering a 96-78 loss to the Bulls last night in a game where they only had 26 points at halftime, the Wizards are hoping to get Nene back to give them some extra help.


NBA: Nene Goes Off on His Young Teammates After Spurs Defeat Wizards

It’s still very early in the season but the Wizards aren’t playing as well as many had hoped.  They were without star John Wall for much of last season and were hopeful with him back and the squad they have now that things would be better.  With a 2-6 record after a 92-79 loss to the Spurs, Nene had enough.


NBA: John Wall Says The Wizards Have to Win In Order For Him to Be an All-Star

You have to be an exceptional player to be an All-Star coming from a losing team.  John Wall recognizes that and admits the Wizards need to do better in order for him to make it to the big game.  The young guard was given a 5-year, $80 million contract with Washington and is going to have to prove his worth.  Read more after the jump.

NBA: Former Wizard Jordan Crawford Says He Doesn’t Recall Playing For Washington

Jordan Crawford’s time with the Washington Wizards wasn’t exactly good.  At first he did great when he was given playing time but soon became the third fiddle when John Wall returned from injury and rookie Bradley Beal was more favored by management.  At the February 21st trade deadline this year Crawford was dealt to the Boston Celtics which made him very happy as he seems to have mentally blocked his time with the Wizards from his memory.  Read more after the jump.
