By now I’m sure everyone has seen LeBron James new Beats by Dre commercial highlighting his return to Akron and the Cleveland Cavaliers.  It also shows James at his high school St. Vincent–St. Mary.  Well an ESPN reporter mentioned the commercial and said she wished it was Kevin Durant back in PG and Montrose Christian.  Durant was born in Suitland, Maryland, just outside of Washington, D.C. His basketball success started in Prince George (PG) county, Maryland.  He also went to Montrose Christian school also in Maryland.  Many people have speculated that Durant will have a “coming home” celebration of his own with the Washington Wizards.  So what did Durant have to say in regards to her tweet?

NBA: Bye Brooklyn! Paul Pierce Leaves For Washington Wizards After One Season With The Nets

So much for being committed to the Nets huh? After just one season in Brooklyn, Paul Pierce is jumping ship and signed a 2 year/$11 million dollar deal with the Washington Wizards. Things didn’t quite work out as some expected after Pierce and Kevin Garnett joined the team after a trade from the Celtics last year. The way it looks at the moment, next year will be even tougher in Brooklyn for the Nets to really do much. So can you blame Pierce for leaving? Hit the jump.
