(Video/Photo) NBA: Warriors Give Kobe Epic Tribute, Draymond Green Snags Autographed Kobe Kicks

The tribute that the Golden State Warriors and Jerry West gave Kobe Bryant last night will give you the chills. In the Black Mamba’s final game at Oracle Arena, West and the Warriors went all out to show him the respect a living legend like him deserves. West as you might remember was the man responsible for getting Kobe to the Lakers in the first place. It was clear the players knew the importance of the night as well, as Draymond Green made sure to get Kobe’s game worn kicks and have him sign them. Green then posted his own tribute after the game.

The likes of Derek Jeter, Jay Z, Floyd Mayweather, Jamie Foxx and more were all in the house to watch one of the more entertaining games of the year.

Klay Thompson came VERY close to being drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks in 2011 and I think it’s safe to say everyone knows his career would likely not being going so well if that had happened. The Bucks had the pick right before the Warriors and wanted a shooter. Not long before they were going to make their pick, they got involved in a three team trade and wound up passing on Klay and he couldn’t be happier they did.

Glen “Big Baby” Davis is currently a free agent with no team. Based on these comments he may be trying to work himself back into the Clippers organization. Davis says if the Clippers had faced the Warriors in this past season’s playoffs that Golden State would have never made it to the Finals.
