As a bartender/server, the absolute WORST thing is to find out that somebody is super cheap. Thankfully for President Obama, that is not the case. After dining at Magnolia’s Deli & Cafe in Rochester, NY– Obama left a tip ON TOP of the 20% gratuity that was already included. (Getting double tipped can make a server feel like God, BTW.) Waitress Recieves $12,000 Tip Back After Drug Investigation
A waitress in Minnesota won back her $12,000 tip that was taken to her by police officers after it was left for her at the restaurant she worked at. According to the waitress, a customer told her that she could keep what was in their take-out box and it turned out to be $12,000! The police took the money saying that they believed the money and the waitress were connected to drugs. After an investigation, the police will be writing the waitress a check for her rightful tip. Parents Outraged After Hooters Waitress Speaks At School!!
Parents were outraged last week, when former porn star Sasha Grey read to kids as a part of “Read Across America.” This week, parents are upset again after a Hooters waitress spoke to special needs students at the Calvin A. Hunsinger School about her job, saying it sends a bad message. I have to agree with the parents on this one– Sasha Grey was reading to kids so I think that’s different because she was actually helping them but this Hooters waitress was talking to special needs children about her job… Where’s the educational value in that??
