A man, 65-year-old Denis Duthie, from New Zealand drank so much vodka while on diabetes medication that it caused him to lose his eye sight! Duthie reeked of alcohol when doctors realized that he had formaldehyde poisoning!This occurs when the body ingests too much methanol which is found in vodka.
