Chicago native, Lil Bibby was announced as one of XXL’s 2014 incoming freshman to lookout for. Coming from such a buck wild part of the map, Bibby took the opportunity in front of him and ran with it. In 2013, he released the Free Crack mixtape and more recently, Free Crack II, which features Kevin Gates, Jadakiss, Anthony Hamilton and more. The buzz continues as he drops records and perform shows. While in Atlanta to showcase the hottest songs from his mixtapes, Bibby got a chance to talk to Rolling Out, as they discuss the violence plagued in his city and what’s next to come on the music tip. “I got locked up for some weed or something and I was in the bullpen with some older guys, drug addicts and dope fiends,” Lil Bibby mentions about when he decided to take his rap craft seriously. “I was just listening them talking and they were arguing in the bullpen, they like, “my block get more money than your block” and arguing over stupid s—, I was just like man what the fuck am I doing in here.” (Hand clap).
