This friday night two people were shot on a busy street lined with bars and restaurants on the Upper West Side. The two victims were shot separately on the corners of 83rd Street and Amsterdam and 84th Street and Amsterdam and taken to St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital. Thankfully their injuries did not appear to be life- threatening. See more below!

A cruel owner left his cats in an abandoned apartment, when he was evicted from a West 86th Street building. 23 cats were rescued, after being left to die of starvation in freezing conditions in the apartment.
