Authorities are currently investigating what looks to be a homicide. University of Texas Police Department spokeswoman Cindy Posey says that the body was found about 10:46 a.m. Tuesday. The body was found near a creek across the street from Darrell K Royal Stadium.

The University of Texas at Austin officially announced today that it will allow students to carry handguns in the university’s classrooms, according to ABC’s KTRK reports. University President Greg Fenves released a statement revealing, even though he’s personally against the idea of guns on campus, the university will allow concealed weapons permit holders to carry guns in compliance with state laws. President Fences stated, “under the law, I cannot adopt a policy that has the general effect of excluding licensed concealed handguns from campus.” More below.

Footage of a University of Texas student, getting slammed and detained after she mistakingly brushed off an officer who allegedly grabbed her while jogging, has surfaced. Amanda Jo Stephen stated that she had disregarded stop lights and crossed the street while jogging, soon after, officials began to try to get the attention of the girl.
BREAKING NEWS: University Of Texas Evacuated After Bomb Threat
The University of Texas has been evacuated after they received a “general bomb threat on campus.” A man called the campus at about 8:53 this morning claiming to be from Al Qaeda and giving warning that the bombs will go off in 90 minutes.
