As mentioned before, Zoe Saldana will be starting in Nina Simone’s new biopic. A lot of people are not too found of the movie being that Saldana is Spanish and not black. Jeff Lieberman, who directed a documentary on Nina’s life called, The Amazing Nina Simone, is not too happy with the film either. He brings up BET Founder Robert L. Johnson‘s statements on the movie.
