The first U.S. Ebola patient passed away Wednesday [Oct. 8] morning. Thomas Eric Duncan, 42 was in critical condition when his family visited him on Tuesday and during that time, things were not looking good. “What we saw was very painful,” said Duncan’s nephew Josephus Weeks. Duncan who was given the experimental Ebola drug, brincidofovir is believed to have gotten the virus in Liberia after taking a sickly friend to the hospital in a taxi cab. The very next day is when he entered back into the states. Since his passing, the Dallas, TX hospital has released a statement. Hit the jump for more.
