Heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury is going through it. The troubled boxer has not trained in months, he’s fighting depression, has suicidal thoughts, a drinking problem, and admits he’s done “LOTS” of cocaine. He’s in danger of losing his belts but that’s the least of his worries, he desperately needs help.
It’s been a strange week for heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. He pulled out of a fight scheduled for the end of October with Wladimir Klitschko without giving a real reason, only for his promoter to tell the media he was “medically unfit” as well as rumors of mental health issues. Today he got word he failed a recent drug test, where he tested positive for cocaine.
Tyson Fury has quite the personality to put it politely. He doesn’t necessarily carry himself in the way you might expect a world champion boxer to do so. He eats like crap, doesn’t train as hard as other fighters but somehow always finds a way to come out on top. One thing he does have in common with other boxers is he loves to hear himself talk and promote himself but this rant here has him just doing way too much.
Newly minted heavyweight champion of the world, Tyson Fury, is doing his best to not gain any new fans since becoming the champ. Last week he took out Wladimir Klitschko to win the title after Klitschko holding it for what felt like decades. It felt like boxing got new life with Tyson’s victory but it didn’t take long for him to put his foot in his mouth.
I’m pretty sure Tyson Fury is going to get into some trouble for the expletive rant he went on last night against David Haye, Lennox Lewis & Wladimir Klitschko. He did not hold back. He deleted a couple tweets later, but of course screen shots were taken and saved. Check it out…
