At the end of the summer, model Rosa Acosta was hosting a series of shows for Heineken of which Wale was the featured performer. She’d previously listed Wale as one of her favorite artists in interviews prior, and the two got along without incident for multiple shows. When the tour of sorts hit D.C., things went south for the covergirl and the rapper. Rosa tweeted about Wale’s failed attempt to go into the crowd and Wale didn’t like the tone of her tweet. He proceeded to send a series of tweets taking shots at Rosa, saying some very not-so-nice things. Rosa didn’t respond directly (aka, didn’t @ him or drop his name) but laughed it off and proceeded about her business. When Wale appeared on Funk Flex’s show a couple months later to promote his album “Ambition,” he apologized to the Dominican beauty and the ball was then in her court.
