HOWEVER, after word broke that this super disrespectful party has been canceled due to the backlash it received, my faith has been semi-restored. In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, MLK was photoshopped onto a party promo flyer wearing a huge chain with an obnoxiously large gold medallion while throwing up the “West Side” hand sign to promote a “twerking party” for the long weekend. Once Dr. King’s family gained word of this blatant disrespect, they were outraged. At least they’ll be able to sleep better at night knowing this party has been SHUT DOWN!
