Last night, burgeoning Detroit star DeJ Loaf made her debut late-night appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon . With The Roots backing her, DeJ performed her breakout hit “Try Me,” and showed off the laid-back style that has become her signature look. Trading in the fur coat from her 106 & Park appearance earlier this month, she opted for an even more classic look. Yup, that’s DeJ Loaf wearing Coogi on Fallon! I love it. If you want the whole look, here’s the breakdown: the robe is by Coogi, the jeans are DL1961, the gold shoes are Gucci. Oh, and there’s fur at the bottom of the jeans. A new “Starter Pack” trend has been taking over our Instagram and Twitter timelines daily and they seem to be getting more creative by the second. The newest person to jump on the bandwagon and make a funny starter pack post is Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan. He rocked a bunch of bling and a bucket hat while he sang his own rendition to Dej Loaf’s “Try Me” track captioning the video, “@dejloaf starter kit lol.” Absolutely hilarious! Rollerblading with a scenic view is hardly the first thing that comes to mind when you think of the Harlem rapper, but that’s absolutely what he was up to earlier this week with his girlfriend JuJu in Venice Beach, CA. DeJ Loaf is blowing up in the music industry thanks to the success of “Try Me”…but it may have her love life blowing up too! The singer/rapper has been exchanging quite a few flirtatious messages with Chicago rapper Lil Durk as of late, and even RT’d a website that posted about their possible relationship. Seems like confirmation right there, though she may just enjoy the conversation being had. I guess time will tell! I think these two are cute together…what do you think?
