Savannah Ogden who is 11 years old started “Savannahs Soldiers” last year and has already reached milestones that she can’t even believe. It all started when her friend’s father got drafted into the army, and she wanted to do something to cheer her friend up. “Savannahs Soldiers collects friendly and encouraging letters from people all over and they send them to the U.S. troops oversea’s. 92 Year Old Veteran Admits To Bootlegging Movies For The Troops
A 92-year-old veteran has quite the interesting hobby, he bootlegs movies for soldiers. Hyman Strachman, who fought in World War II, purchased bootleg movies from his local barbershop and takes them home to duplicate them and send them to troops in Iraq and Afghansitan. According to Strachman, movies are a big entertainment source for deployed troops. So far Strachman has sent over 4,000 boxes of free DVDs to the troops. Read more below. Julie1205
