Tristan Thompson ended his standoff with the Cleveland Cavaliers and agreed to a five-year, $82 million deal. The Cavs initially offered a five-year, $80 million deal but Thompson wanted a max contract of $94 million. After weeks of posturing they finally came to an agreement. Though the Cavs technically won in the standoff, most still consider it to be quite a large contract considering Thompson’s production. One of those people includes Sacramento Kings star DeMarcus Cousins.
