Approved by the U.N. General Assembly at a vote of 154 to 3 with 23 abstentions the U.N will regulate a multibillion-dollar international arms trade. Iran, North Korea and Syria all voted “no” on the resolution. The treaty will require countries to establish national regulations to control arms transfers.
