Besides the huge surprise of the night with the Celtics trading KG & Pierce to the Brooklyn Nets, there was one other big surprise last night during the NBA draft. “Experts”, and I use that term lightly, had been saying all along that Kentucky Forward Nerlens Noel would be the #1 pick of the NBA draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers. Wrong! The Cavs surprised alot of people by going with UNLV forward Anthony Bennett, and I agree 100% with their choice. Read more coverage of the draft after the jump.
Breaking News! NBA: James Harden Has Been Traded to the Houston Rockets!
Earlier today there were reports that James Harden and the Oklahoma City Thunder were working on a contract extension. Harden reportedly turned down a four-year $52 million extension as he was seeking a max contract from the Thunder for four years worth $60 million.
