While fans are ecstatic about the album’s release, Earl is beyond pissed at his record label on how the news came about. The album is slated to drop March 31 – right after Kendrick Lamar’s Untitled. Poetic MMG emcee Wale is gearing up his fans for the March 31st release date of his forthcoming project entitled The Album About Nothing. Wale calls on popular urban artist Sue Tsai, who also illustrated the artwork for his “Bad” track, to do the cover art for #TAAN. He explains the theory behind the cover by saying:
Me and Jerry. Walkin up and U see a blue moon Illuminating. This is basically saying come with me on the journey that is my everything. My life. This is my fears my thoughts my dreams my Demons. For better or worse. Cover number 3 was created by my good friend sue tsai. It’s designed for my core fans.
