Everybody knows Cam Newton does his “Superman” rendition when he scores a touchdown but during a preseason game he decided to add a little twist. LeBron James is known for marching with his knees high then pumping his chest. Newton added that to his touchdown celebration before doing his usual Superman routine. LeBron caught wind of it and saluted him on Twitter.

By now, most fans have seen the pics of LeBron hanging out at the Cowboys/Giants game last night (along with that great pic with Jerry Jones). Well it’s begun. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell levied a new set of rules regulating touchdown celebrations. Basically you can’t show any action that would display happiness, well done… (sarcasm). The San Francisco 49ers are currently leading the Green Bay Packers 23-15. One of the touchdowns was the familiar duo of quarterback Alex Smith to tight end Vernon Davis.
