This morning a tornado touched down in Queens and Brooklyn damaging homes and anything in it’s path. At around 11a.m., the twister touched ground on the Rockaway Peninsula and Carnarsie. Tornado warnings remain in effect for NYC and it’s surrounding areas pretty much all day long. It’s unknown if anyone was injured due to the tornado but no deaths have been reported.
