DJ Whoo Kid recently had Pat Quinn, the creator of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, as his guest on his Shade 45 radio show, The Whoolywood Shuffle. Pat is 31 years old and got diagnosed with the syndrome last year and brought tons of awareness and MONEY to a great cause over the last couple of months with his social media campaign. Being nominated by G-Unit’s Tony Yayo, Whoo Kid and Saturday Night Live’s Jay Pharoah gave Pat the honors of dumping them with ice cold water for the cause. Check out the hilarious video below.
Rapper Young Buck chopped it up with Concrete Magazine for his first in-depth interview since G-Unit reunited. He explains in detail how G-Unit got back together, his relationship with 50 Cent and his future career moves. Peep game below.
As “Chelsea Lately” come to an end after a pretty long run on TV, it was only right for G-Unit to come out and bless the stage to wrap the whole show up. First, 50 Cent and Chelsea had a quick little flirt sess and reminisced on their short-lived romance. Then, Fif, Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo, Young Buck and Kidd Kidd hit the stage to perform Watch Me off their new EP entitled The Beauty of Independence. Check the closing performance below! GGGG GGGG GGG G-Unit!
Last night, Ryan Leslie put on quite the show at the Bowery Ballroom in NYC along with some very special guests for his #RenegadeNation Tour. First, the Black Mozart proved to the crowd why he’s dubbed as a “musical genius” while playing numerous instruments and performing countless hits including “Addiction,” “Diamond Girl,” “Jibberish” and many more. He then brought Fab out to the stage to perform their extensive catalog of collab tracks together including “Addiction and “Lay Down,” just to name a few. To everyone’s surprise, G-Unit rappers Lloyd Banks, Young Buck, Tony Yayo and Kidd Kidd came out and ripped the stage along side R. Les and Loso. Some famous faces were in the house including Emily B, Drake’s OVO sound producer Mike Zombie, Victoria Secret model Lyndsey Scott and many other familiar faces. (Shout out to Ryan Leslie and his publicist Savannah for giving me the pleasure of doing an exclusive interview and for hooking it up with the pass for the show. Also huge s/o to Jamaal for the super dope pics/vids!) Check out some of the footage from last night’s event over in the gallery and if you have yet to do so, sign up to become an official #RENEGADE here!
