The days of having a contract with TMO maybe over, back in Novemeber the company announced they would be giving up on contracts and looking for alternate ways to sell smartphones. According to an internal memo obtained by TmoNews, the company may announce next the end of contracts or as the memo calls it “uncarrier” plans. The new uncannier plan would eliminate two-year contracts, early termination fees and traditional phone subsidies, allowing customers to instead purchase new devices with a monthly installment plan. Also TMO may also announce “dual 4G” .
Looks like the MLB is getting a technology upgrade! Days of the old dugout bullpen phones are coming to an end. Cell phones will soon be used. MLB’s partnership with T-Mobile was unveiled Tuesday at CES (Shout out to our own TatWza that is out there now and will keep everyone updated on all the new tech news!). In the spirit of the holidays T-mobile is offering price drops on all of their mobile devices with some smartphones being free. After doing a look over on the site the only phones not being offered is The Galaxy Note 2 and Nexus 4. The sale will be on until Decemember 31, just in time for a after christmas gift. T-Mobile has finally gotten the green light from Apple that they are allowed to sell their devices. After being the only major carrier without an iPhone product on shelves, T-Moble finally joins the iPhone party. The only details that are sketchy about the deal is what iPhone will T-Mobile be getting, because the deal says products. What makes this interesting is, TMO’s CEO said he didn’t care if they got the iPhone or not, but apparently he does. Yungjohnnybavo x TatWZA
It was just last week that Jim Alling, COO of T-Mobile, was hosing Apple for their device cost. Claiming the cost is too high, but if things worked out they would love to carry the device. Well it looks like his words may have had some weight to them. Check out after the jump… Tat Wza
