After being released in February as a TIDAL-only exclusive, Kanye West’s The Life of Pablo has been certified platinum. The project later expanded to other streaming platforms, but has thus far remained only a streaming album, which makes the sales and consequently its platinum status that much more significant. Though Ye did promise that hard copies of TLOP would eventually hit stores, they never materialized, and he’s already at work on the next project. At least we got updated versions of the songs on the album along the way! Check out a pic of TLOP‘s platinum plaque below. Congrats to Ye and his team!

Kanye’s song “Famous” made reference of Taylor in the song. When the song dropped Taylor claimed that Kanye never asked her permission to use her name in the song but Kim Kardashian pulled out those receipts. Mrs.West posted to Snapchat the conversation between Kanye and Taylor and I have to say Taylor really played herself.

Kanye is now being sued by a fan due to the fact that he purchased Tidal to get the album just for it to be released on other streaming sites.
