TLC has been out of the spotlight for some time, especially after suffering the loss of their groupmate Left Eye a decade ago. Their last album was just a couple months after her passing, and remaining group members Chilli and T-Boz actually just announced yesterday they would be going back in the studio for a new one. It looks like one half of the duo might need to put in some work in the image department, however. She’s still beautiful, but there is definitely a difference in weight between the above photo and the pics in the gallery from the weekend, when the ladies attended the 2012 MOBO awards in England to accept the award for Outstanding Contribution to Music. There were many other better choices of outfits T-Boz could have chosen. Chilli on the other hand looks like she hasn’t gained a pound! Lucky! Do you like T-Boz’s look before better, or now? TLC To Release First Album Without Left Eye
It’s been ten years (in exactly one week it will be to the day), but T-Boz and Chilli are ready to venture back into the musical world for their first time without Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes. Though 2002’s 3D was released months after Lisa’s untimely passing, it still included her vocals as they’d been working on it before her death. Looks like the girls are really ready to work, too, as they are also working on a special on their lives on VH1. I’m sure it’s not going to be easy doing it without their groupmate! Ex-Wives of DMX, Lamar Odom, Funk Flex Set for TLC’s ‘Starter Wives’
Tashera Simmons, Shaniqua Tompkins and more have been cast to appear on the TLC series “Starter Wives.” Confirmed by the network Tuesday, the series will share the lives of seven women who supported their former husbands/boyfriends before the fame and wealth made them the men they are today. Those men include Hip Hop rappers DMX and 50 Cent, basketball and reality star Lamar Odom, radio and media personality Funkmaster Flex and notable boxing star Floyd Mayweather. Funk Flex
Honey Boo Boo Gets A Huge Salary Boost
I have no desire to tune into this show, but apparently it’s a ratings goldmine for TLC! If you’re not in the know, Honey Boo Boo is a 7-year-old from the south with a family that epitomizes the term “redneck”. She rose to fame on the pageantry reality show Toddlers & Tiaras, and subsequently got her own spin-off, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. Honey and her family each started off getting a salary of between 5 and 7 thousand a show, but after just the second episode, TLC has upped the ante tremendously…and they didn’t even ask for it! Details on how much Honey, Sugar Bear and the crew will rake in below. Also, word is they’re staying quite humble…turning down gigs and agent offers left and right, just to keep the family together!
