Following New Jersey newcomer Fetty Wap’s awards show debut with a performance of “Trap Queen” alongside rockers Fall Out Boy, Ty Dolla $ign popped his awards show performance cherry as well. The L.A. singer (who celebrates his 30th birthday today) hit the stage to perform the lead single off his forthcoming debut Free TC, “Drop That Kitty.” The song’s featured artists Tinashe and Charli XCX were on hand to join him as well, with Charli also performing her new single, “Famous.” Check out the performance below, and cop the single on iTunes here.

Kanye West rarely ever tweets…I mean, the guy has only 176 posts since he started his page almost 5 years ago in July of 2010…but yesterday, he decided to make one of those 176 tweets about Tinashe! Random! Though the pair have pretty much NO affiliation, Yeezy took to Twitter last night to share a link to Tinashe’s new video “All Hands On Deck,” writing, “I really like this vid…” This will certainly bring more attention to the singer, who will soon be embarking on Nicki Minaj’s Pinkprint tour as an opening act alongside Meek Mill, DeJ Loaf and Rae Sremmurd.
L.A.’s Power 106 Announces Powerhouse 2015 Lineup
It’s that time of year again! Hot 97’s sister station Power 106 in Los Angeles is gearing up for their annual Powerhouse concert, and this year’s lineup was revealed today on The Cruz Show. Going down May 16 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Powerhouse 2015 will be headlined by Kanye West, and will include Ty Dolla $ign, Ludacris, Kid Ink, B.o.B., Tech N9ne, G-Eazy, Tinashe, Logic, Nipsey Hussle and Casey Veggies. Fans will be able to win tickets every day by listening to Power 106 up until the show date, and can also purchase them starting Thursday, April 9 on Power106.com.
