Tinashe has been forced to postpone the international dates of her current Joyride tour, and it’s with good reason – she’s yet to finish the album that it’s in promotion of! “It is with a heavy heart that I come with the news that due to unexpected recording commitments I need to postpone my upcoming international tour,” T wrote in a statement. “Originally, I had planned this tour in support of Joyride, and as you know, the album has yet to be released.” She continues below.
Chris Brown Calls Tinashe, Zendaya + More “Children” After They Distance Themselves From Him For Kehlani Comments
In the wake of the insensitive comments Chris Brown made toward 20-year-old singer Kehlani and her attempt at suicide following some severe cyber-bullying, several female singers have distanced themselves from him – despite having current singles that feature him. Zendaya’s song with Chris, “Something New,” is doing good on rhythmic radio. A video was set to be on its way, but she has now unfollowed him on all social networks, and deleted every post related to the collab. The ultimate shade would be replacing him on the song! I’m so here for it. Tinashe’s song “Player” features Chris as well, and she has also unfollowed him on her social networks. The song wasn’t gaining that much traction, however, so she isn’t missing much of a beat by distancing herself. In a recent interview, she did she’d be working with him again on more music, but I’m going to assume that’s no longer happening.

Last night, Tinashe, Chance The Rapper and Snakehips hit the stage on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to perform their hit record, “All My Friends.” Tinashe – who’s gearing up for her first solo tour and sophomore album – also did a solo performance of her new single, “Ride of Your Life.” Check out the video below!

M.A.C.’s new Future Forward campaign has tapped four women who are working their way up in music, or as they put it: “reshaping music’s future.” Following in the footsteps of Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Lady Gaga and more over the years, Tinashe, DeJ Loaf, Halsey and Lion Babe’s Jillian Hervey are the new faces of the cosmetic brand. Available this Spring, DeJ will have her own lip gloss, while Tinashe will have her own eye shadow palette, Lion Babe will have a custom gold eye liner…and I honestly can’t tell what Halsey will have, but it seems like it’s a gray/blue lipstick.
