Thug Tries To Kill NYPD Officer but the gun jams on him. Several hours after two NYPD officers were shot and killed in Brooklyn, a second man attempts the same thing but luckily the officers in pursuit of him did not suffer the same fate as the previous officers.

I haven’t decided how I feel about this yet, the N-word has a lot of history behind it. Andddd I know people that use the word thug and it doesn’t have anything to do with a person’s race. What I do think is that people have been unfairly criticizing & judging Richard Sherman.  I don’t think he did anything wrong. I think he was just being passionate about the game.  Yes, I know — there are some that will totally disagree with me and I’m good with that. During a press conference yesterday Sherman addressed some issues from his postgame rant from the NFC title game including that he thinks ‘thug’ is an accepted way of calling someone the N-word.  I’d love to know how our readers feel about that?!  Check out what he said & weigh in….

H-town representer Slim Thug appeared on CNN’s “OutFront” to clarify that being a thug isn’t always negative. He explained how the word influenced him to incorporate it into his rap name and how Hip-Hop has the power of influencing young children. Slim explains, “If anybody listens to music and is influenced by what a rapper says then they wasn’t raised in a good home anyway. If somebody going to listen to a song and do what the song say, that’s bad parenting off top.” Check out the clip from the show below.
