Rosie Perez Says Adios To ‘The View’ For Good!
After a little less than a year, Rosie Perez is officially making her exit from the popular day-time talk show, The View. The NuyaRican actress joined the show last Fall but has been rumored to be leaving for the past few months since January. Executive Producer Bill Wolff of the ABC show addressed Rosie’s departure and wrote:
Our friend Rosie Perez has decided to leave the show at the conclusion of this season to pursue full time her love for acting. Stepping into the role of talk show host at the same time she has been starring on Broadway has been incredibly impressive.
He also added that he will be giving her a “proper send-off” and that she’s welcomed to join the show as a guest whenever she pleases. Her last day will be August 6th, which is the last day of the season. We’re not quite sure what’s next to come for the 50-year-old Hollywood OG but I’m sure she has a few projects brewing behind the scenes!
