The Underachievers will be dropping the follow-up to their 2015 mixtape “Evermore: The Art of Duality,” with their “Renaissance” project sometime this year. After dropping “Gotham Nights” and “Cobra Clutch” The Underachiever release the third single from the project, “Final Destination.” The track is produced by Pro Era member Powers Pleasant who also co-produced Joey Bada$$’ “Devastated” single.
Last week The Underachievers returned with their new single “Gotham Nights.” Today they follow it up with their new track “Cobra Clutch” which is named after the legendary wrestling move. The track kicks off with Sgt Slaughter explaining how to use the move and finds the duo rapping about how they have the rap game on lock over production by Tedd Boyd. The track along with “Gotham Nights” will land on their upcoming project “Renaissance” dropping later this month.
After dropping off a few singles The Underachievers release their new mixtape, “It Happened In Flatbush.” The project is 10 tracks long and doesn’t have any features. Stream and download the project after the jump.
