Crew Member Dies On The Set Of ‘The Lone Ranger’
A crew member drowned after going into cardiac arrest on the set of The Lone Ranger. The man was a diver on set doing work on a water tank scene in Los Angeles. He was rushed to the hospital but it was too late, the drowning caused him to go into cardiac arrest and he was unable to be revived. Read more below. Julie A.

Filming for the long-awaited movie, The Lone Ranger, has begun. Johnny Depp has been cast as Tonto to Armie Hammer’s Lone Ranger. Originally Disney pulled out of making the movie, but they have decided to go forth with producing the movie. Many people have doubts on if Johnny will be able to pull off Tonto, but he’s been cast in so many diverse roles that I’m sure he’ll be great! Check out Johnny as Tonto below. Julie A.
Disney Backs Out Of Johnny Depp’s “The Lone Ranger”
Disney has announced that it is backing out of Johnny Depp’s “The Lone Ranger.” There has been no official statement from Disney as to why they have decided not to move forward with the project but rumor has it that the budget for the Jerry Bruckheimer produced movie was more than what Disney wanted to spend. Depp was really looking forward to “The Lone Ranger” regardless of the flop that was “Cowboys and Aliens.” Maybe Disney canceled their involvement in the movies since cowboy themed movies seem to be failing and fading away.
