Monday night, Logic stopped by ‘The Tonight Show’ starring Jimmy Fallon to promote the release of his new album The Incredible True Story. Logic put on an inspirational performance of his record ‘Fade Away’ and kept with the theme of the album by wearing a NASA spacesuit. The album dropped last month and Logic is currently gearing up to go on a world tour which kicks off in February. While out on the road promoting his album, the Incredible True Story, which was released last week, Logic stopped by Power 106 LA for an interview. While on The Cruz Show, Logic showed off his freestyle skill during the “Breakfast Bars” segment of the show and blew everyone away. He spit for eight straight minutes over a number for different beats, proving that he’s currently one of the best lyricists in the game. Check out the video below.
Logic’s First Week Sales Projections Are Currently Beating Jeezy’s
Friday, November 13 was a huge day in music, with so many albums being released, iTunes’ internal systems were crashing multiple times throughout the day! Among the day’s new releases were Justin Bieber, One Direction, Ty Dolla $ign, Jeezy, Logic, Alessia Cara, Redman, Kirk Franklin and more. That’s a heavy lineup! First week sales projections are currently in for a few of the names, and perhaps surprisingly, Logic is far surpassing his more seasoned labelmate, Jeezy, with sales of The Incredible True Story and Church In These Streets, respectively.
Album Release Date: Logic – The Incredible True Story
After revealing his album cover and title last month, Def Jam’s Logic has officially revealed the release date for his sophomore effort, The Incredible True Story. “I can’t wait to share this album with you! Nothing but positive vibes a fun concept and good music! #TheIncredibleTrueStory,” Logic tweeted. “My sophomore album The Incredible True Story is releasing everywhere Friday November 13th.” Also releasing on that day is Ty Dolla $ign’s debut, Free TC. After announcing the project’s title last week, Def Jam rapper Logic has released the cover art for his sophomore album, The Incredible True Story. The project is set to hit stores later this year, and though we haven’t heard any music from it just yet, it appears to have an interesting Sci-Fi theme judging by the artwork and the trailer!
