Yesterday afternoon, The-Dream turned himself into NYPD for felony assault charges that were filed against him by his then-pregnant girlfriend Lydia Nam in 2013. The charges seemed a little fishy from the start as they were filed 7 MONTHS after the alleged incident, and now he’s speaking out on the matter with more details. After posting $20,000 bail, paparazzi caught up with the singer/songwriter as he exited court, and though he remained rather tight-lipped on the situation, he did make sure to add he “definitely” never touched her.
The-Dream Turns Himself In For Felony Assault Against Pregnant Girlfriend
The-Dream has turned himself into the NYPD this morning, wanted by police for an alleged attack on his then-pregnant fianceé Lydia Nam in April of 2013. According to reports, the singer/songwriter has been booked on 2 felonies – assault and strangulation – and 3 misdemeanors – assault, reckless endangerment and child endangerment. According to Lydia, Dream punched, kicked, and strangled her while she was pregnant with his son…but she didn’t report the incident to police until 7 months later. Interesting! He’s currently still in custody – and I’m unsure of their relationship status. We’ll keep you updated!

The-Dream Is A Wanted Man After Allegedly Beating His Baby Mama!
NYPD is on the hunt for music producer The-Dream after he allegedly choked, kicked and punched his ex Lydia Nam, who was pregnant during the time of the attack. Law officials are saying the attack went down in April of 2013 at the Plaza Hotel, although The-Dream and his camp are calling BS. To make things even more fishy, Nam didn’t file a police report until NOVEMBER of this year. Hmmmm. Terius Nash, aka Dream, thinks she’s plotting against him to extend her visa (being that she’s Canadian.) He was also arrested for another domestic violence issue involving Nam last year in Newport Beach, California, but Nam refused to press charges so it was dropped. Do we believe her?
