(Video) Aw! Fabolous Says Drake Lyric Inspired Him To Call His Grandma

During a recent interview, BK’s own Fabolous sat down with Sway to chop it up. Fab revealed that after hearing Drake’s “I heard they just moved my grandmother to a nursing home/ And I be actin’ like I don’t know how to work a phone / But hit redial and you’ll see that I just called / Some chick I met at the mall that I barely know at all” verse off hisThe Resistance track in 2010, he got upset and realized he had to call his grandmother ASAP. “That hit me so hard because I looked at it and said, ‘Damn, when was the last time I called my grandmoms, man?’ It just hit me. I had to stop the song and call my grandma. Rap used to do that for people. It used to make you live in what is going on. I told him that was my favorite shit he ever said. That touched me,” said the ‘Soul Tape 3’ rapper during in the sit down for Sway’s Universe. Click below to see the full interview!
