NBA: Kyrie Irving Gets Closer To His Olympic Dream With Mini-Camp Invite
The videos of Kyrie Irving crossing everyone up and breaking ankles during the Team USA scrimmages remains fresh in my mind. In fact the young point guard dazzled everyone so much they wondered why he wasn’t apart of Team USA in their trip to the London games but that team was stocked as it was and there was no one worthy of being kicked off. Irving kept his Olympic dreams alive however and even turned down playing with Australia in order to preserve his chances with Team USA in the future. It’s working out well for the star guard as he’s gotten a very special invite. Read more after the jump.
NBA: Durant & Westbrook Reportedly Were Irritated By Kobe’s Trash Talk During Olympic Scrimmages
When team USA scrimmaged this summer in preparation for the Olympics Kobe often lined up against guard Russell Westbrook. Of course in true Kobe fashion he talked a lot of smack (I know you seen the video with Kyrie Irving). Sabrina B. Lebron James, Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Durant, and Russell Westbrook arrived at London’s Funky Buddha nightclub in a convoy of taxi cabs just 30 minutes before the club closed. Reportedly, their security team escorted the towering entourage inside the club where they stated until last orders.  Check out some of the pics as they arrived…dressed super casual.
