(Video) NBA: Derrick Rose Shows Out With Two-Handed Dunk & More During Team USA Game

All attention turned to Paul George’s devastating leg injury during Team USA’s scrimmage Friday night, but prior to that all eyes were on Derrick Rose.  Much of the practices focused on Rose’s return and if he had indeed returned back to his previous form after two major knee injuries.  Rose got the most cheers and the bulk of the attention from the fans in attendance, and at least early on, he did not disappoint.


NBA: Paul George Has Successful Surgery But Is Likely to Miss the Entire Season

On Friday night during Team USA’s basketball scrimmage, Indiana Pacers star Paul George suffered a gruesome leg injury.  He was immediately taken to the hospital so the doctors could fully assess the injury and perform surgery right away.  Now that the doctors have gone in, we have a better idea of the extent of his injury and unfortunately it’s not good news.


NBA: Former All-Star & Gold Medal Winner Selling His Medal For How Much?

Vin Baker was a lottery pick back in the 1993 NBA draft and had a very solid career including numerous all star appearances and winning a gold medal with the mens basketball team at the 2000 summer Olympics. But despite making over $105 million dollars during his career, there were reports recently that he was having financial trouble which may be the reason his gold medal is now on the auction block. The starting bid is $35,000 and will go up from there and is open for a few weeks. Unless times are real bad he should keep it just for the history, but things in life happen. Hit the jump.

After team USA practice yesterday, KD, Harden and Paul George decided to play King of the Hill and all of their offensive skills were on full display. NBA: Blake Griffin Withdrew From Team USA Training Camp Due to Back Fracture

Blake Griffin decided not to play with Team USA in the World Cup this summer.  It didn’t seem like too much of a big deal since several other players withdrew as well, but Griffin was very vague about why he would not participate.  Now we have the answer.
