Kaitlin Roig, 29, ushered 15 of her 1st grade students into a bathroom after Adam Lanza shot out the classroom windows. All her students were strong and brave, listening to her when she asked them to be quiet. One student even mentioned he knew karate, so he could lead the way out. Many lives saved thanks to one hero, Victoria Soto. Soto, 27, saved ALL her 1st grade students by throwing her body and sacrificing herself in front of ‘deeply disturbed’ evil gunman Adam Lanza. She put her students into a closet when Lanza entered her classroom and she tried her best to shield the children from the shooter. One of her former students, only 10 years old, extremely distraught is still wanting to believe his teacher is alive. The student had seen Soto get shot, but in his young, innocent mind, he’s still believing she’s okay & recovering. So heartbreaking. Bloomberg Warns Painful Cuts To Schools
New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg says teachers need to be held accountable or some painful education cuts will be made. This in response to a call to publicly rate teachers. The teachers union and the government have been in discussion about the rating process of the teachers. A bill passed in New York State says that teacher ratings do not need to be displayed publicly, Bloomberg was against the bill and wants to make sure that teachers have the proper safe checks in place to make sure they are reaching their goals. (Video) Teacher Does What To A Blind 6 Year Old Kid!
Wow! This is crazy! Two teachers in New Mexico are facing child abuse charges after a video released showed them dragging a blind 6-year-old boy down a hall by his legs!! Then when the cops ask the teacher what happen she told them that “the special needs child refused to go to another classroom, so she dragged him there.” WHAT?!
