Carly McKinney, the 23-year-old, the high school math teacher that posting almost fully naked photos of herself, using drugs at school and tweeted posts calling a student ‘jail bait’ …is now suspended from her job, but on PAID administrative leave. The actual Twitter page has been taken down, the damage has been done and is on suspension till further notice since Tuesday for her explicit Twitter posts. Faculty at their school believes in the rights of freedom of speech, although they’re still investigating whether or not it was actually McKinney tweeting from the account. Supposedly, people had access to her account AND her leaked photos (ha) so it could’ve been someone else jeopardizing her job. Teacher Avoids Prison By Marrying Her 15-Year-Old Student
A former teacher had been arrested for having sex with her then 15-year-old student, yet she is avoiding jail. Instead of facing the jail time she married him and has avoided jail with this tactic. Because Johnnie Ray and her are now married he cannot use evidence against her. According to reports the case formed against her is nothing without a victim. One of the most devastating stories inside the Newtown Shooting story was the one about a teacher hiding her students in closets to save their lives while she was gunned down. Victoria Soto is known as a hero for that and the work is close to being done in honoring her. Connecticut residents are in the process of getting a street named after her.
